Reto Iten, the owner of the company, started his career in one of the largest banks in the world. Some years later he wished to experience
industry and other countries. In 1985 he worked as a manager in the commercial section of a producer of textile printing screens. The by-
products made were Tobacco bands and Collector tubes, which at that time were produced for the OEM.

In order to separate the textile and tobacco businesses a trading company was found in 1987 which was headed by Reto Iten. Due to the
development of the market, more and more products were added to the product range in order to provide a complete service to cigarette
manufacturers. Apart from the own products made internally, a number of Joint-Ventures were contracted to increase the product range.
In 1992 Reto Iten set up his own company, focusing not only on the tobacco market but also on speciality metals and its scraps, including
precious metals. Soon a company was established in Romania and co-operations were contracted in other Eastern European states. To
remain a small company, but to increase the marketing potential, a highly international network of local distributors and agents was
established.  Today most of our companies products are sub-contracted on a firm basis. We still focus on niche markets and products of
high quality. We serve the re-builders, a major OEM and naturally consumers, particularly in The Far and Near East, Eastern Europe, and
a large number of other countries. We serve some of the factories from multinationals with local stocks of so-called, daily consumables, in
countries where import operations are difficult and time consuming. This stock service is available to all of our clients placing telephone
orders with our local representatives/distributors, this very often helps to avoid incorrect production interruptions.

Due to his extensive contacts throughout the tobacco world, Reto Iten started to deal in machinery some years ago. We mainly focus on
”as is” machines for making and packing as a large number of re-builders are among our clientele. We can however, also offer tailor-made solutions for rebuilds or overhauls in various standards as well as turn-key projects for making, packing, filter making and even PMD.
Due to our broad network we often have donor machines available ourselves for rebuilding jobs so that we have a great flexibility to serve
our clients.
